What No One is Telling You!

I kept the photo provided by my word processor template I am using while writing this as I travel visiting our family across the U.S.. I kept it because the picture of the erosion in this wonderful canyon photo captures visually the erosion of truth in our world today. Here in the U.S.A. it seems that everyone is in the business of exposing some hidden facts to influence the political discourse of our current election cycle. All the while, the civility of public discourse is deteriorating to all new lows. Unfortunately, TRUTH is the first casualty because the hype and hyperbole now overtake many of the subjects presented. We live in a culture that is either unwilling and unable to face facts of TRUTH. The “spin” of each exposition is intentionally biased in some way or another in an attempt to formulate public opinion. I offer this perspective on the true underlying cause of illegal immigration because it is almost completely absent from the discussion of this important topic. I will preface my comments first in a brief survey on TRUTH in our world.
We are being told that our government is printing us into insurmountable debt while at the same time each political party attempts to entice voters by promises to fund their particular special interests. Then there are the warnings that our infrastructure is collapsing on various levels but no one wants to admit that one of the biggest drawbacks in economics is TRUTH. The TRUTH is that you can only spend money once! When its gone, its gone… for everyone except the governments that own their monetary printing presses! However, they will soon discover, as 100% of those nations before us have, this TRUTH as well when the richest nation on earth realizes that they have spent the resources of generations to come and our currencies continue to tank.
Both parties foster their exposition of how the other “politicians” are liars and thieves when we all know this TRUTH, don’t we? Its only a matter of degrees and the intent of their misrepresentations. I want to make no mistake about admitting my own bias towards the more conservative, constitutional, or even “right wing” side of the “hype” spectrum. I am reminded by a comment from Charles H. Spurgeon that “of two evils choose niether” (from… The Salt Cellars – Proverbs & Quaint Sayings). I must never forget when choosing between the lesser of evils that the lesser is still evil. In all fairness to Spurgeon his original quote was in reference to choosing between sins and he actually advocated participation in voting with sobering truth in sermon dated March 22, 1857 entitled Particular Election, Spurgeon can be quoted as saying,
“Let us, whenever we shall have the opportunity of using the right of voting, use it as in the sight of Almighty God, knowing that for everything we shall be brought into account, and for that amongst the rest, seeing that we are entrusted with it. And let us remember that we are our own governors, to a great degree, and that if at the next election we should choose wrong governors we shall have nobody to blame but ourselves, however wrongly they may afterwards act, unless we exercise all prudence and prayer to Almighty God to direct our hearts to a right choice in this matter.”
Here in the U.S., we recently remembered the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I have a Dream” speech that I believe best captures the cause of our departure from “TRUTH” as he spoke from his years of study in Christian thought. After all, he professed those beliefs and preached more from scripture than many now realize or admit. Today, in America racial tension is at an all time high because evil exposed in this TRUTH is at an all time high as well. The underlying denial of the TRUTH has NOT changed. I too, long for the same biblical dream of Martin Luther King when our children will live in a world “where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”.
Today, we can all admit that the absence of TRUTH in true godly christian character is still the cause of all our suffering. Yet, rather than living such a dream as preached by Dr. King, society rushes headlong down into the cesspool of moral depravity and now institutionalizes the very evil that scripture condemns among all races.
I could continue this line of exposition of the denial of TRUTH into many different areas but its time to turn to the contemporary “sacred cow” of Illegal immigration at hand. In the western
industrialized nations illegal immigration has become a “hot button” topic as it should be… simply because it is a reality and exists not only in the U.S. but in scores of countries around the world. The only difference is the way it is being addressed in the different countries here in the west. One of my goals in this exercise is to encourage you so that, rather than looking at the uncontrolled flood of immigrants as am incurable “disease”, that we move beyond the “symptoms” that threatens our respective national harmony in order to address the cause rather than bemoan the “symptoms” of the condition. I’m no doctor but my great grandfather, my father, and my son ALL have had Dr. before their names. I know a little about diagnosis. Every doctor knows that understanding the cause of disease is instrumental in addressing the treatment and cure of that disease. However, today, I have heard NOT EVEN ONE politician willingly admit the TRUTH about the cause of illegal immigration. How we got this “disease” is important to consider before it can ever be treated! The immigrants themselves are but the symptoms of the malady… they are NOT the cause.
I will briefly qualify my observations by telling you just a little about myself. I was born in the
mountains of Eastern Tennessee. My parents were college educated. My father served in the U.S. military before becoming a dentist. Unfortunately my parents divorced and my mother, an artist, decided that we would move to an artist colony in Mexico when I was in my teens. So, myself, my mother, and younger brother, lived as legal immigrants on a tourist visa for three years in Mexico. I also have a sister who was born in Mexico as well. I learned their language and experienced their culture. I appreciate BOTH of them. After my mother’s death in Mexico, where she is buried, I returned to the place of my birth to live with my father where I also married and raised my family. After learning a trade, I studied and I worked in business and was able by God’s grace to spend about 13 years of my life traveling and working in approx. 40 countries serving in Christian missions within a small denomination based in the U.S.. I understand a lot about conditions in numerous countries. I say this so you know that
my observation has some depth to it from experience rather than just reading textbooks or opinion.
I feel sympathy for the many immigrants having to leave their homelands and their having to assimilate into the complex culture that is the U.S.A.. The unbridled influx of millions of these immigrants impacts our economy and threatens the national integrity of our nation but it is NOT THE IMMIGRANTS AT FAULT.
First, I want to make clear that I believe that their presence is no more accidental than the sun that arose in the east this morning. The presence of these millions of illegal immigrants is intentional and was allowed by our “governments” to occur in a disingenuous manner so as not to draw attention to the actual reason or “cause“ for their presence. You see, what they are NOT telling you is that it is no secret that the developed western industrialized nations have suffered from a decline in their birth rates in recent decades to such a degree that something had to be “allowed” in order for our economies as we know them to even continue. I need not quote the statistics of the many articles anyone can access online from the likes of Forbes, the Washington Post, and many others to substantiate the “plague” of depopulation in the western developed or industrialized nations today. However, the progress of the decline in populations spells the sure demise of our economies unless something drastic occurs to abate it. The blame in the many studies is often attributed to the growth of the female work force or possibly even the influences fueled by the desire of young couples to have BMWs or more toys rather than having children but there is something far more insidious beneath these statistics than mere materialism.
I believe that I can easily make a case that this current wave of illegal immigration is the result of a plague that curses western civilization and will threaten our very existence but few connect the dots and see the cause of our problem. I have heard NO politician brave enough to make the connection I share! This plague is so grievous that the beheadings in the middle east can’t hold a candle to them. The scope of these atrocities dwarfs the evil of the Nazis and I’ve been to Auschwitz and the ruins of some of their death camps. So, here goes! The cause of our illegal immigration woes could be summed up in one Word; SIN! I know that’s an unpopular word but this SIN has a more specific title; ABORTION! The calculated murder of the unborn that has robbed us of tens of millions who would have otherwise contributed to our world.
This morning I received a solicitation from The National Pro-Life Alliance reflecting on this
catastrophic genocide taking place in the U.S.. One of the few willing to enter the abortion debate is Dr. Rand Paul, who writes; “For 43 years, a few unelected men and women on the Supreme Court have played God with innocent human life… They have invented laws that condemned to painful deaths without trial more than 61 million babies for the crime of being “inconvenient.” I will return to his call to action in a moment but first let be be clear.
The wholesale annihilation of tens of millions of the unborn has necessitated the countries where this is practiced to allow, if not encourage, illegal immigration because their demographic population experts know that they must fill their places in order to sustain their economies. Its not that complicated! Because of the sin of abortion these governments have turned their heads by allowing whoever can to come in to live and work among us. The placing of blame upon those who have responded is disingenuous to say the least! They were insidiously invited to come because of our institutionalization of genocide and now some seek to blame them rather than those that have committed the horrendous murders of our day for the problem. Perhaps we would not even be having this conversation today if it weren’t for the current economic downturn where they are looking for scapegoats rather than solutions. This is what no one is telling you but you can figure it out with little effort if only you take the time to do so. The illegal immigrants are NOT the cause of the problem. The senseless and calculated genocide of our unborn under the guise of “freedom of choice” is the culprit. The illegal immigrants are only illegal because the complicit governments were unwilling to take responsibility for their social experimentation in the genocide they have inflicted upon us by this SIN against humanity in killing the millions of unborn.
Thankfully, there are those willing to stand up for the defense of the unborn. I hope that they will also come to stand in defense of those many illegal immigrants who were insidiously invited to take their places as well when the time to come. Until our leaders “connect the dots” on this important issue, we can support the efforts to deliver the unborn from the threat of sure genocide. I hope this article helps you put the problem of illegal immigration in perspective. In conclusion, I offer a portion of the letter from Dr. Rand Paul for your consideration of this important opportunity to participate in this effort to protect the unborn;
In 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade ruling forced abortion-on-demand down our nation’s throat. In the past, many in the pro-life movement have felt limited to protecting a life here and there — passing some limited law to slightly control abortion in the more outrageous cases. But some pro-lifers always seem to tiptoe around the Supreme Court, hoping they won’t be offended. Now the time to grovel before the Supreme Court is over.
Working from what the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade, pro-life lawmakers can pass a Life at Conception Act and end abortion using the Constitution instead of amending it. That is why it’s so urgent you sign the petition to your Senators and Congressman that I will link to in a moment. Thanks to the results of the last election, you and I are in a better than ever position to force an up or down roll call vote on the Life at Conception Act. And your petition will help do just that. Signing the Life at Conception Act petition will help break through the opposition clinging to abortion-on-demand and ultimately win a vote on this life-saving bill to overturn Roe v. Wade. A Life at Conception Act declares unborn children “persons” as defined by the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, entitled to legal protection. This is the one thing the Supreme Court admitted in Roe v. Wade that would cause the case for legal abortion to “collapse.”
When the Supreme Court handed down its now-infamous Roe v. Wade decision, it did so based on a new, previously undefined “right of privacy” which it “discovered” in so-called “emanations” of “penumbrae” of the Constitution. Of course, as constitutional law it was a disaster. But never once did the Supreme Court declare abortion itself to be a constitutional right. Instead the Supreme Court said:
“We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins… the judiciary at this point in the development of man’s knowledge is not in a position to speculate as to the answer.”
Then the High Court made a key admission:
“If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant’s case [i.e., “Roe” who sought an abortion], of course, collapses, for the fetus’ right to life is then guaranteed specifically by the [14th] Amendment.”
The fact is, the 14th Amendment couldn’t be clearer:
“… nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty or property, without due process of law, nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the law.”
Furthermore, the 14th Amendment says:
“Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.”
That’s exactly what a Life at Conception Act would do. But this simple, logical and obviously right legislation will not become law without a fight. And that’s where your help is critical. You see, it will be a tough fight, but I believe with your signed petition it is one we can win.
